The great thing about having floating candle centerpieces is the fact that they look great, but they cost next to nothing! In fact, you are going to be blown away by how very little it costs to get very nice looking wedding centerpieces for the reception tables using floating candles. All you really need is a big fancy bowl (kind of like a punch blow) some water, food coloring, and some floating candles. The only thing that you have to keep in mind is that the floating candles should be themed with your wedding. If you are having your wedding in the fall, you could use candles in the shape of tree leaves as fall wedding decorations. You can also purchase tall candles or wedding votive candles. Now lets go through the steps of how to put it all together.

First of all, you need to get the punch blow set up where you want it first. Do not try and move it when it is full of water! After you have it set up, you then fill it with water. The great think about water is that it’s free, and yet, it gets the job done. After that you should choose a food coloring you want to put into the water. You do not need much just enough to give it a light color. You do not want it to dark. Then you simply place in the floating candles. As your guests arrive, have the floating candles lit to give the room an amazing atmosphere!

Floating candles for a wedding is a great idea, and a cheap one at that. This is a great way to save some money on your centerpiece, but still have a very fancy one. A lot of people spend most of their money on flower arrangements for a centerpiece, and then they do not have enough for everything else. After all, you do not want to go in debt because of your wedding, do you?
