Real Weddings: Lanchi & Todd

Real Weddings: Lanchi & ToddLanchi and Todd wanted to show their shared love for their alma mater by using owls (Rice University’s mascot) in their wedding. Lanchi payed tribute to Todd’s Colorado roots by having a wedding color scheme of orange and blue, after the Denver Broncos. Wendy Kay from Birds of a Feather Events, with the help of Kristen Camareno Florals, took the unique color combination and created a stunning and vibrant outdoor affair. Adorable owls were placed in every corner, from the table centerpieces, the owl escort cards to the orange and blue owl sugar cookie favors. The ceremony and reception were both held at the Fort Worth Japanese Gardens. In order to complement the beautiful backdrop of the outdoors, Lanchi ordered a stunning floral and classic wedding cake. Lanchi and Todd enjoyed every moment of their day in a wedding that was unique and special to them.
